Resonance 1.4, No.04.1
Floating metal prints come with hanging hardware installed. See print and framing details below.
The idea behind the Resonance collection was simple and well-worn for me: to create simple base patterns and layer and mask them into new arrangements. In this collection, I'm using the scale, masking, density, and colour of the dots to create an effect of outward resonance from the center on most pieces. Each piece attempts to visualize a particular type of sound or music, and I leave it to the viewer to imagine what the visualization could sound like.

Papers, inks and frames
I only use one professional lab for my art prints. Everything comes from their state-of-the-art facilities in Minnesota, USA. My name is on my art, so is my reputation.

ISO 9706 museum-grade papers and inks
Canson® Infinity Arches® Aquarelle Rag paper
I chose this paper because it produces a quality of finish I haven't seen before. The heavy texture and deep matte (non-glossy) appearance are exhibition quality.
Materal: 100% cotton
Texture: A pronounced watercolour paper texture
Heavyweight: 0.61mm / 310gsm
Conservation: Exceeds the ISO 9706 museum grade standard. Independently tested by Wilhelm Imaging Research for longevity. Made with alkaline reserve the paper is protected against acidic envrinoments and has no optical brighteners.
Colour: Pure white, obtained without the addition of optical brighteners. Produces a deep matte finish.
Traditionally processed: Quality close to that of paper made by craft methods. The slow turning of the cylinder enables the fibres to be deposited evenly and spread in all directions over the wire. The paper is therefore more homogeneous and has good dimensional stability.
Archival pigment inks
✓ Used on all fine art paper prints.
Fine art prints are inkjet printed with archival pigment inks, which significantly enhance visual brilliance and have substantial longevity, keeping prints beautiful for generations.
Modern metal frames
Finishes and dimensions
With a clean squared edge, the thin profile of the modern metal frames provide a minimal accent to the art that will match with your existing gold, silver, or neutral décor finishes.
Face: 0.44 inches (11.1mm)
Depth: 1.31 inches (33.2mm)
Glare-resistant, UV-protective acrylic
✓ Included and pre-installed in all framed prints.
I've chosen to offer only glare-resistant acrylic for framed prints. Its matte finish diffuses light to reduce unwanted glare and distractions. This premium acrylic also offers UV protection, extending the life of the print.
Protective mat
✓ Included and pre-installed in all framed prints.
Protection
All frames come with a single, white mat. The mat creates a small space between the art print and the glare-resistant acrylic so the surface of the archival print are not touching. This gap also mitigates against condensation.
Dimension
The void created by the mat allows the texture of the paper to be more easily seen, and creates depth—another way of creating more visual interest.
Sizes
1 inch mat: 12x12 and 12x18 inch frames
2 inch mat: 16x24, 20x20, 24x36, 30x30 frames
Pre-installed easy-hang corner brackets
✓ Included and pre-installed on all framed prints.
Unlike wire hanging systems, corner brackets keep your frame level over time. Additionally, with the angled stepped grooves on each side, the wall nails or screws do not need to be perfectly level, making hanging so much easier.
Floating metal prints
All metal prints come with an inset metal frame and a French cleat hanging system, so the art securely floats off the wall. The corners are minimally rounded for safety.
Surface finishes and hanging hardware
Inset frame and french cleat
✓ Included and pre-installed on all metal prints.
Inset metal frame
The pre-installed inset metal frame creates a modern, unframed look. The metal print will appear to float on the wall, creating separation and dimension. The black metal frame is set in from the print’s edge and has a 1-5/16" depth on all print sizes.
French cleat hanging system
The art world’s favourite, most secure hanging system is easy to attach to the wall with accuracy. It stays level and provides a little left and right adjustment in case you’re hanging multiple pieces of art side by side.
Simply screw the cleat into the wall and hang your print with the inset metal frame onto it.
Surface options
White base metal prints use a bright, solid white base under the art print to create vibrant colours.
Clear base metal prints do not use a white base. The art is sublimated directly onto the brushed metal. Any would-be white areas clearly show the metal. Lighter colours cover the metal appearance a little, and darker colours completely cover the metal appearance. All colours are slightly darker without a white base under the ink but retain their vibrancy.
All metal prints are protected by a clear varnish.
